XIS-100XDV - Dual View Technology

The XIS 100XDV uses Dual View Technology that allows for the viewing of objects from two different angles - an "up shooting" view from beneath the object and a "side shooting" view from the side of the object. The benefit is an improved ability to view odd shaped objects (i.e. triangular or L-shaped), and thus allow the operator to identify potential threats more quickly and easily than a single view system. The tunnel size of 1000 mm (39.4 in) wide by 1000 mm (39.4 in) allows for the scanning of larger parcels at airports, government offices and other applications.

CamPx

NETTUNO CamPX is a new digital-to-digital CIEFFE security camera with a native IP interface for professional applications. Fitted with a revolutionary video acquisition system developed by Pixim, it takes advantage of a 720 x 540 pixel progressive scanning sensor that eliminates interference and a dedicated DSP that runs an advanced high resolution system, capable of delivering a maximum dynamic range of 120 dB.

The H264 and MPEG4 Main Profile algorithms implemented on board the camera offer an ultra-low noise video signal and striking detail, giving excellent quality images at full resolution (D1), while still very fluid and usable over extremely reduced bandwidths.

NETTUNO CamPX is a stand-alone camera, but it can also be networked with SPECTIVA and LINEARIS Digital Video Management Systems. Transmission via IP, use of the best compression algorithms and analogue video output with overlay function; all together provide extremely flexible and scalable solutions for any type of CCTV installation.

NETTUNO CamPX runs as a native resource within SPECTIVA and LINEARIS DVMSs. As with all CIEFFE products, it is fully supported by the SiteManager multi-site software, as well as RemoteControl and VisionWeb, all of which provide management and controls from the network.



Mega Px


CIEFFE is the first company in the world to manufacture cameras with a 2 Mpixels sensor able to elaborate images using an MPEG4 compression algorithm, 20 times more effective than the traditional JPEG algorithm.

The new CIEFFE NETTUNO MegaPX network camera is equipped with a high-resolution (2 Mpixels) CMOS sensor by Micron.

NETTUNO MegaPX can send to the network high resolution images – 1600 x 1200 or 2 Mpixels – at 12/15 fps, or real time images (25/30 fps) with a 1280 x 1024 resolution (1,3 Mpixel).

The sensor allows to adjust exposure and white balancing guaranteeing excellent images in standard settings as well as in scenes with high dynamic range and under any lighting condition. The camera independently controls and manages the autoiris of the fitted lenses according to the light condition of the scene selected.

MPEG4 compression allows to optimize data in a much more efficient way than traditional compression methods, thus eliminating problems related to the available bandwidth and reducing traffic and storage costs. Therefore, it is possible to achieve an extremely high resolution with an extremely small bandwidth usage. MPEG4 compression is managed by a dedicated DSP, with proprietary firmware, that can be updated over the network if new algorithms are implemented.

NETTUNO MegaPX can be powered directly through the Ethernet port (Power Over Ethernet compliant). An SDCard slot allows to add memory for local storage of single frames or short videos.

NETTUNO MegaPX is suitable for stand-alone use or in combination with DVMS of the SPECTIVA and LINEARIS series. IP transmission, use of the best video-compression algorithms and bi-directional stereo audio allow to achieve extremely flexible and implementable solutions for any type of CCTV installation.
